ARIELLA GOODWINE, MFT, has a psychotherapy practice in San Mateo. She works - on an individual and/or family level - with addiction and codependency. She also maintains a general practice with additional specializations in treating adolescents and their families, parenting issues, and issues relating to breast cancer and cancer genetics.
SUSAN
HAMLIN, LCSW, has been in practice
for 28 years. In addition to her work in the field of addictive
disorders, she is particularly interested in what constitutes
emotional health in adolescent and adult females. She
is a candidate at the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute
and is a member of its adjunct faculty.
EMILY HARRIS, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with offices in Palo Alto and Oakland. She works with adolescents, adults and couples in all stages of addiction and recovery. She is especially interested in helping people explore issues related to identity and relationships. She is an associate professor at Argosy University (aka American School of Psychology) in Alameda, California.
RHONA KASTLE, MFT, has
been in practice in the South Bay since 1985. She has assisted
patients in recovery from chemical dependency, codependency,
sexual trauma, and emotional and physical abuse. She also
works with clients with couple concerns, issues surrounding
adoption, and people with a general desire to improve the
quality of their lives.
FRANCINE LEJEUNE, M.D., LCSW, graduated
from New York University in Clinical Social Work. Previously,
she practiced for 15 years in France as a Medical Doctor.
She has a private practice in Menlo Park.
JOAN L. MENDELSON, Ph.D., is
a licensed clinical psychologist in Menlo Park. She works
with individuals and couples in all phases of addiction and
has expertise in both pre/early recovery and long term recovery
issues. She specializes in helping blended families,
couples, older adolescents and young adults struggling with
their own addictions or with addictions of those they
love.
COLLEEN KING NEY, LCSW, graduated
from Smith College School for Social Work and has maintained
a general private practice in Palo Alto for the last 20 years.
In addition to her interest in assisting people in active
addiction and recovery, she has specialized in the treatment
of children and adolescents. She has a special interest in
working with adult women in transition and in exploring the
place of creativity in one’s life.
PHILIP RAHM, Ph.D.,
MFT, is
a psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist
in Menlo Park. He has been in practice for more than 20 years,
specializing in addiction and adolescents.
JULIA SMITH, MA, MFT, is
a marriage and family therapist in private practice in Menlo
Park. She sees individuals, couples and families with a wide
range of concerns, including issues related to addiction,
parenting and marriage, workplace, spirituality, life transitions,
depression and anxiety. She has a special love of working
with family members affected by the disease of addiction.
JOANNE STULTZ, Ph.D., is

Altos, California. She has a general practice with adult
individuals and couples, and a specialty working with all
aspects of addiction including adult children of alcoholics.
CONNIE SWANSON, MFT, is
a marriage and family therapist practicing in Redwood City.
Her clients include couples and individuals. She specializes
in childhood losses & trauma, and problems related to
transition, depression, anxiety and addiction.
GLORIA VAN BREE, Ph.D., brings
30 years of clinical experience to her professional and personal
passion of facilitating the life-long change process necessary
for recovery, personal growth and spiritual transformation.
She works with adults, individuals, couples and families
in her Menlo Park office. In addition to her affiliation
with the Addictions Institute, she is a member of the Leadership
Group of the Marion Woodman Foundation.
